Caring for your garden tools
Newquist Forge garden tools are crafted with hickory handles, and finished with a natural linseed oil and beeswax.
To avoid rust, wipe dirt off after each use. Store tools out of the weather. When rust appears, use steel wool or a wire brush to remove. Apply a thin coat of linseed oil, tung oil, or mineral oil on metal and wooden handle. Wipe excess oil with a cloth and allow to dry indoors.
Caring for your fireplace tools, hooks and ironware
All ironwork is finished with linseed oil and beeswax. This finish can last for years indoors.
